“Gokul”(1946) was directed by Vasant Painter for Prabhat Films. The movie had Anant Marathe, Kamla Kotnis, Sapru, Chandrakant, But Kashar, Ganpat Rao, Yashwant Suley, Nimbalkar, Vimal Karnataki, Madhukar Apte etc in it.
“Gokul”(1946) had five songs in it. One song from the movie was covered in the blog twelve years ago.
Here is the second song from the movie to appear in the blog. According to HFGK, this song is sung by Mohantara and chorus, but listening to this song, it becomes clear that it is a duet song. According to the uploader of this rare song, the song is sung by Sudhir Phadke and Mohantara. Qamar Jalalabadi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Sudhir Phadke.
Only audio of the song is available. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the movie as well as on the picturisation of this song.
