Alphabetical list of actresses who have lip synced in Asha Bhonsle’s voice- Part II

In the first episode of this series, we gave a list of actresses whose name began with A and who had lip synced in Asha Bhonsle’s voice in the posts of the blog. That post covered a song picturised on an actress whose name started with the letter A who had not lip synced in Asha Bhonsle’s voice in the blog till that time.
In this second episode, I will give a list of actresses whose name begins with B and who have already had songs in the blog that were sung by Asha Bhonsle and were picturised on them. Unlike the letter A which yielded 30 plus actresses, there are only 10 actresses with letter B in the blog :-

There could be some more actresses in the blog that may qualify but I may have missed them. Our knowledgeable readers are requested to point them out if they notice such omissions.
When it was time to feature an actress whose name starts with B and who has not lip synced in Asha Bhonsle’s voice in the blog, I was helped a great deal by Pamir Harvey, our fellow music lover to the blog. He not only pointed out actresses whose name began with A and who had lip synced in Asha Bhonsle’s voice, he gave me three names of actresses with letter B who had yet to feature in the blog while lip syncng in Asha Bhonsle’s voice. I have taken up Bhanupriya for this post.
Bhanupriya has not figured in the blog in the past. She makes her debut in the blog with this song from “Tamaacha”(1988). The movie “Tamaacha”(1988) was produced by Prasann Kapoor and directed by Ramesh Ahuja for Tirupati Pictures. The movie had stars Jeetendra, Rajinikanth, Amrita Singh, Bhanupriya, Kimi Katkar, Sumit Saigal, Anupam Kher, Asrani,Ifthekhar, Satyen Kappoo,Shriram Lagoo, Rohini Hattangadi,Nilu Phule, Sulabha Deshpande, Murad, Sudhir Dalvi, Vikas Anand, Aruna Irani, Beena Bannerjee etc in it.
“Tamaacha”(1988) had five songs in it. Two of these songs had the voice of Asha Bhonsle in them.
Here is the first song from “Tamaacha”(1988) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Asha Bhonsle. Anand Bakshi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Bappi Lahiri. This song is picturised as a wife -husband nok jhonk cum pillow talk song on Bhanupriya and Jeetendra.

Next episode of this series will feature an actress whose name begins with C and who has not yet lip synced in a song sung by Asha Bhonsle in the blog. I request our knowledgeable readers to suggest the names of such actresses (with the song) that may qualify for that post. Actresses whose name begin with C and who have already figured in the blog lip syncing in Asha Bhonsle’s voice are : Chaand Usmani, Cuckkoo, Chitra, Chaand Burque and Chanchal. So any actress other than these five whose name begins with C and who may have lip synced in Asha Bhonsle’s voice would be a contender to figure in the next episode of this series.

Well, I found a Telugu film which was dubbed in Hindi as Return of Johnny [1972]. Mohd. Rafi and Asha Bhosle sing “O My lovely Darling” for Sohan Babu and Chandrakala respectively

I am very happy to see the B-instalment of the Asha-Bhosle-Alphabet-Actress series.
I couldn’t find any more actresses whose name start with B and have moved lips to Asha Bhosle’s song. The only song which comes close is aasmaan ooncha hai mera from Saand Ki Aankh [2019] which is filmed on Bhumi Pednekar and Tanu Wapsi, but it is a background song.
I did find an Asha Bhosle song, which was a playback for Beena Banerjee (Pradeep Kumar’s daughter), but it was from a Bengali film.
More luck was to be had with the alphabet C. The actress is Chitra and the film is Zimbo [1958] and the song is ye kiya tune kaisa jaadu. I had thought there might be an Asha Bhosle song filmed on Celina Jaitly, but couldn’t find any.

Chitra is already there in the blog lip syncing in the voice of Asha Bhonsle in 11 songs, including the song mentioned by you.
