“Dharm Patni”(1953) was produced by Harishchandra Rao and directed by Ramchandra Thakur for Harishchandra Pictures. This movie had Nirupa Roy, Mahipal, Moti Sagar, Durga Khote, Yashodhara Katju, Neeroo, Mona, Kumar,Gope, Bhagwan Das, Dalpat, Eruch Tarapore, Hamid Majnu, Dewaskar, Maqbool, Deepak Naidu, Parvati Bai, Anwari, Vijaybala,R S Diwan etc in it. Bhagwan had made a guest appearance in the movie.
“Dharm Patni”(1953) had six songs in it. Three songs have been covered in the past.
Here is the fourth song from the movie to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Madhubala Jhaveri. Bharat Vyas is the lyricist. Music is composed by Jamal Sen.

All the six songs of the movie are female solo songs. Madhubala Jhaweri sang three of these songs. One song each was sung by Asha Bhonsle, Mubarak Begam and Sulochana Kadam. So it is likely that Madhubala Jhaveri sang for Nirupa Roy, the leading lady, but one cannot be sure. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song.
