In my last article, I discussed the film, ‘Naache Naagin Baaje Been’ (1969) which was written and produced by Devi Sharma (19/10/2021 – 30/03/2010). I got acquainted with his name when I had watched his films, ‘Ganga Ki Laharen’ (1964) and ‘Gunaahon Kaa Devta’ (1967)” in my younger days. Meerut born Devi Sharma was a writer and got attracted to the glamour world of Hindi films. He shifted to Mumbai and debuted as a co-producer with Wasti for ‘Basre Ki Hoor (1956). His first independent film as a producer and writer under his banner, Janta Chitra was ‘Taxi Stand’ (1958). The next as a producer-writer was ‘Kaali Topi Laal Roomaal’ (1959).

‘Dekhaa Pyaar Tumhaaraa’ (1963) is an obscure film which I came to know only because of its title song which used to be often heard on Vividh Bharati during my younger days.
