Shammi Kapoor made his debut in early 1950s and for the first few years of his career he was largely a nobody. In his movies, he would try to ape the mannerisms of his elder brother Raj Kapoor.
It was with “Tumsa Nahin Dekha” (1957) that Shammi Kapoor discovered his true self. It was in this movie that we first saw Shammi Kapoor look and act like the Shammi Kapoor that we so love and adore to this day.

“Dekh Kabira Roya” (1957) was a movie made with lesser actors, and I have no idea how the movie fared at the box office, but today this movie is regarded as a musical blockbuster.

Here is a party song from a movie called “Bade Sarkaar” (1957). This movie, from its cast does not appear an A grade movie, seeing that Agha and Sajjan are the lead actors in this movie.
