As mentioned earlier, I am at present in a district in Chhattisgarh that shares the same name as the advanced nation of Korea, but unlike the land of Samsung and Hyundai, I find my internet connection crawling at a pace where it is unlikely that I can even open a page, let alone watch/download videos. And as soon as the song started, and Leena Chandavarkar started to sing out her complaints to her ‘beau fatale’, I immediately recalled another song – same era, same pair of actors on screen, the same complaint. Well one difference, the mood in the song that I refer to, is a bit more explicit, and a bit more demanding.

“Anhonee” (1952) is one of the lesser known movies with Raj Kapoor and Nargis in it. The movie apparently failed at the box office. The songs of this movie are decent songs to listen to, though.
