“Jogan”(1950) was a Ranjit Film Company Production. This movie was made at a time why the studio was on the verge of bankruptcy. “Gareebi” (1949) is a movie about which very little information is available on internet. Fortunately, we have our own encyclopaedia Mr Arunkumar Deshmukh, who was not only around when these movies were released, but on many cases he even watched such movies and took notes.

“Aurat Teri Yehi Kahaani” (1954) was Ranjit Movietone (assembly line) production, which was directed by their long term director Charurbhuj Doshi. The movie had Bharat Bhushan, Nirupa Roy, Sulochana, Chandrashekhar etc in it.

Here is a song that is a very rare song on several counts.
This song is from an obscure movie called ‘Bairam Khan” (1946). This song is sung by not one or two or three, but four female singers ! This song is sung by Geeta Dutt (then Roy), Shamshad Begam, Naseem Begam and Munawwar Sultana.
