I have been waxing eloquent about music director Ganesh in this blog. The more I listen to his songs, more is the sense of loss that I feel. If only he got a proper run in Bollywood, we would have had many more great songs to savour.

I have mentioned it in the past that Ganesh was a music director who deserved much better than what he achieved in Bollywood. He was just as talented if not more than Pyarelal (of Laxmikant Pyarelal fame, who was his brother).

Ganesh, the younger brother of Pyarelal ( of Laxmikant Pyarelal fame) had assisted his brother in their earlier movies, including “Parasmani”. In fact, it is said that Ganesh and Shashikant ( brother of Laxmikant) had played big roles behind the success of their brothers in that movie.

I continue to be more and more amazed at the qulaity of music director Ganesh’s music. He could create amazingly popular songs even when he created these songs for C grade movies.
