Welcome all to this post under ‘blog ten-year challenge’ of ‘2012-2022’. Ten years ago, in the year 2012 the blog was around four years old and already going great in terms of daily posts on the blog.
In the year 2008 there were 475 songs posted on the blog from ‘July’ to ‘December-2008’. The average was around 3 songs or posts per day.

All these days I was under the impression that I had discussed this song long back, but I was woken up from my complacency by a farmaish from this song. I have discussed as many as six songs from this movie, and it is a great oversight on my part that I forgot to discuss this song till now.

“Love in Tokyo”(1966) is the most Shammi Kapoorish of all movies not involving the great man himself. “Love in Tokyo” (1966) has Joy Mukherji instead and he does a great job here as a Shammi Kapoor clone.

“Love In Tokyo” (1966) was a movie that came two years after the Tokyo Olympics, and it showed Indian viewers some stunning scenes that left Indians gasping. It was diffucult to believe that Japan, a country which was on the same boat as India just two decades ago had taken such rapid strides in just one generation.
