This is one song that was a long pending farmaish. But I was not able to post in earlier since I was unable to locate the video link of this song.
Now that this link is available, here is this post about this song from “Phir Subah Hogi” (1958). This movie had Raj Kapoor in the lead role and this song, which is sung by Mukesh, is picturised on Raj Kapoor.

I have become a big fan of music director Ganesh. He was the younger brother of Pyarelal ( of Laxmikant Pyarelal music director duo) and he was an amazingly talented music director on his own. It is unfortunate that Ganesh did not get many opportunities to showcase his talent. But whatever little opportunitiies he got are enough to establish his credentials.
