As old songs go, there are many such songs that I am discovering for the first time these days. Here is a song that is as old and as obscure as a song can be, but this time for a change, I have heard this song before. In fact I heard the audio of this song a few years ago and I recall liking this song.
This time I watched the video of the song. The song is picturised on Sajjan and Madhubala. Madhubala looks stunning in this picturisation. I never knew that Sajjan, known mainly for playing bit roles used to be a hero too.
Rafi has sung this song amazingly well. The lyrics may have been written by one of D N Madhok/ Rajinder Krishan/Hasrat Jaipuri who were the three lyricists for this movie. The music of Sajjad Hussain is just wonderful.

Heard this song for the first time now.
Very nice song.
I am sure there are thousands of Rafi saab songs out there that I still do not know and which are really good.
