I have posted as many as four songs from “Dosti” (1964). There were six songs in this movie as far as I remember. Who knows, there may have been more songs in it that I am not aware or which may have been excluded from the movie.

While watching old movie songs, sometimes we come across kids with names sounding familiar to present day fans. And they tend to believe that these kids are the same TV/ movie personality they know. But that is not always the case.

Here is a song which sounds like it belongs to a Shammi Kapoor movie. And indeed it has almost all the ingredients of a Shammi Kapoor movie except the great man himself. The movie is “Ek Musaafir Ek Haseena” (1962) which appeared on the scene almost in the same era as “Junglee”. This movie has Joy Mukherji and Sadhana in lead roles.

I am vaguely aware of the movie “Insaan Jaag uthaa” (1959). Now I know that this movie had Sunil Dutt and Madhubala in lead roles. I was not aware earlier that the two had worked together in a movie.
