“Yahudi” (1958) is a movie starring Sohrab Modi,Dilip Kumar and Meena Kumari. This movie, as the name suggests, is a historical mythological movie of the Roman era of 2000 years ago, where Dilip Kumar plays Roman prince Marcus and Meena Kumari plays a jew called Hannah. Being a Hindi movie adoption, they naturally fall in love and in fact sing lots of songs.
I have discussed four songs from this movie so far including the song that won Shailendra the filmfare aware for the best lyricist of 1959( Ye mera deewaanapan hai(Yahudi)).
Here is another song from this movie. This song is sung by Lata. It is picturised on Meena Kumari,Dilip Kumar and Minu Mumtaz. Hasrat Jaipuri is the lyricist. Music is composed by Shankar Jaikishan.
Prakashchandra, who sent the lyrics of this song to me, regards this song as one of his favourite song. Personally I had never heard this song before, but now I too have begun to like this song.

Atulji,
On first hearing this song made no impact on me. 3 or 4 years back, sahara channel used to telecast the songs of yahudi everyday morning in its song based programme. Gradually, this song grew on me, meenakumari`s expressions for this song is outstanding. She always emotes silently without over the top acting, I like meenaji aur waheedaji ke subtle acting very much.
Further,there is some typing mistakes in 4,5,6,7th lines. Instead of “AAYEERE”, it has been typed as “QAYEERE”
