“Raftaar” (1955) is a movie starring Nadira and Talat Mehmood. Yes, it is a movie of those days when Talat Mehmood was trying hard to make it big as a singing acting hero.
Here is a song from this movie which is sung by Talat Mehmood and naturally picturised on him as well.
Nakshab, the director of the movie, also wrote the song. Music is composed by Nakshab, though I have also read somewhere that this song is composed by Nashaad. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw more light on this matter.
This song is a lovely ghazal that has been forgotten with passage of time.

Atul ji,
This is the 3rd song of RAFTAR featuring here.First song was on 18-8-2010,the second was yesterday,i.e.2-8-2011 and today is the 3rd one.By coincidence,all songs are in August only !
ALL songs,as far as I know,were composed by Pt.Shivramkrishnan,for Raftar.
