“Madaari” (1959) is a Ratan productions movie. It was produced by Ratan Kumar and directed by Babubhai Mistry. This movie had Ranjan, Manhar Desai, Chitra, Jayshree Gadkar, Sunder etc in it.
This movie was a B grade movie with A grade music. Two of the better known songs from this movie have already been discussed in this blog. That includes the extremely well known song Dil lootne waale jaadugar .
Here is another song from this movie. This is a all female duet which is sung by Lata and Kamal Barot. The song is picturised as a dance song on two female dancers. Prakashchandra, who sent the lyrics and other details of this song to me, thinks that one of the dancers is Shiela Vaz and he is not sure about the other (turban wearing one). As for me, I can identify old actresses only by fluke and I am unable to identify the other lady. To me, she resembles just about any actress who may have acted in this movie including Jayshree Gadkar. So I request our knowledgeable readers to help identify the dancers and other actors in the picturisation.

Atul ji,
The turbanned actress is KANCHAN and the other one is SHEILA VAZ as rightly identified by prakash ji.
The Music Director duo Kalyanji-Anandji,in this film,were assisted by Laxmikant kudalkar and the music arranger was Pyarelal Sharma of Laxmi-Pyare duo.
The real name of Manhar Desai(acting in this film) was Malcolm Alfred D’souza.
