I am aware of a 1954 movie called “Mastaana” (1954). Now, thanks to the lyrics of a song, which were sent to be by Prakashchnadra, I am now become aware of another movie of the same name which was released in 1970.
“Mastaana” (1970) is a movie which was a presentation of Suchitra Films Private Limited. Premji was the producer and the movie was directed by Adurthi Subba Rao. The starcast of the movie had names like Vinod Khanna, Bharathi, Mehmood, Padmini, Shyama,Rehman, Manorama, Mukri, Leela Mishra,Mumtaz Begum, Janki Dass, Jayashree.T.,Bobby(aka Wonder Child Bobby),Ramesh Deo, Paro,Kamal Kapoor, Habib,Baby Guddi, RajKishore,Prabhat Kumar,Ram Avtaar, Shivraj, Narbada Shankar, Harbans darshan.M.Arora, Salma etc in it.
Here is a duet from this movie. It is sung by Rafi and Lata.
When I listened to this song, I realised that I had heard this song quite a few times in 1970s, and I liked the song too, but all this while I never became aware of the name of the movie and other details of this song.
This song is picturised on Vinod Khanna, Bharati, Padmini and Mehmood. Anand Bakshi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal.

i think that this was the movie with “Suyi Jaa Tara” and “Maine Maa Ko Dekha Hai”. am i right Prakash Chandraji
