Ho zara bachke shikaari shikaar karnaa

Posted on: October 9, 2011

“Tower House” (1962) is a B grade suspense movie which was a “Desh Productions” presentation, which was a production house owned by Nisaar Ahmad Ansari. N A Ansari is also the director and an important role in this movie which also had Shakeela, Ajit, Bhagwan, Madhumati, Neelofar, Protima Devi etc.

This movie is well known today thanks to the timeless classic song Ae mere dile naadaan tu gham se na ghabraana.

I have so far discussed two songs from this movie. Here is another song from the movie.

This song is sung by Asha Bhonsle. It is picturised as a dance song, and as is often my wont, I am unable to identify the dancer (s) on whom this song is picturised and I request our knowledgeable readers to help identify them. The video of the song has erxtremely poor sound quality that comes as an impediment in the way of enjoying this song, therefore I have provided an audio link of the song too.
PS-The dancer is Madhumati. I thank Mr Sadanand Kamath for this information. The lyricist of this song is S H Bihari and not Asad Bhopali. I thank Mr Arunkumar Deshmukh for this information.

This extremely hummable song is written by Asad Bhopali S H Bihari. Music is composed by Ravi.

Song-Ho zara bach ke shikaari shikaar karna (Tower House) (1962) Singer-Asha Bhonsle, Lyrics-S H Bihari, MD-Ravi

Lyrics

Ho zara bachke
ho zara bachke shikaari shikaar karnaa
zara bachke shikaari shikaar karnaa
nain jaanen hamaare bhi waar karnaa
nain jaanen hamaare bhi waar karnaa
zara bachke shikaari shikaar karnaa
ho zara bachke

husn ki shokh ada haan
dekh kar dil na jalaa ho
khaa ke aanchal ki hawaa
kyun machalta hai bhalaa
jaa re jaa o deewaane
teri bhool(?) hai
jaa re jaa o deewaane
teri bhool(?) hai
dil hamaare liye beqaraar karnaa
ho zara bachke shikaari shikaar karnaa
ho zara bachke shikaari shikaar karnaa
nain jaanen hamaare bhi waar karnaa
nain jaanen hamaare bhi waar karnaa
ho zara bachke shikaari shikaar karnaa
ho zara bachke

phool se gaal bhi hain
reshmi baal bhi hain
aaj to bikhre huye zulf ke jaal bhi hain
phool se gaal bhi hain
reshmi baal bhi hain
aaj to bikhre huye zulf ke jaal bhi hain
baat maane na maane hamaari magar
baat maane na maane hamaari magar
kaam apna to hai hoshiyaar karna
ho zara bachke shikaari shikaar karnaa
ho zara bachke shikaari shikaar karnaa
nain jaanen hamaare bhi waar karnaa
nain jaanen hamaare bhi waar karnaa
ho zara bachke shikaari shikaar karnaa
ho zara bachke

?? agar haan
yoon na phir dekh idhar ho
khench kar teere nazar
maar den ham to agar
yoon na phir dekh idhar ho
khench kar teere nazar
maar de ham to agar
umr bhar choten khaakar tadapta rahe
umr bhar choten khaakar tadapta rahe
bhool jaaye haseenon se pyaar karnaa
ho zara bachke shikaari shikaar karnaa
ho zara bachke shikaari shikaar karnaa
nain jaanen hamaare bhi waar karnaa
nain jaanen hamaare bhi waar karnaa
ho zara bachke shikaari shikaar karnaa
ho zara bachke

Atul ji,
TOWER HOUSE(1962),was a murder mystery film produced by J.C.Malhotra,under the banner of Dish Productions, directed byN.A.Ansari-who also played the role of Ranjit, the murderer of Seth Durgadas(S.N.Banerji).
The lead pair wasAjit (Suresh) and Shakila(Sabita),supported by N.A.Ansari(Ranjit),Bhagwan(Ajay),Raj kumar,Rajan Kapoor,Bihari,Madhumati,Niloufer etc.
I have seen this movie. This is a story of Suresh(Ajit),the would be son in law of Seth Durgadas, who is murdered by Ranjit(ANAnsari) his ex-employee,to take revenge, daughter Sabita(Shakila) and others who help the Hero to come clear of the murder charges and arrest the culprit.
The above song is written by S.H.Bihari(who also acted in this film). All the other songs are by Asad Bhopali.
