Atul’s Song A Day- A choice collection of Hindi Film & Non-Film Songs

Kal ke apne na jaane kyun ho gaye aaj paraaye

Posted on: December 22, 2011

“Amaanush” (1975) was a movie that was made in Bangla as well as Hindi. The music of the two versions remained the same with the same music director composing for both the movies. Only the lyricist (naturally) changed.

I have discussed the title song of this movie in the past. Here is another memorable song from this movie. This song is sung by Asha Bhonsle. Indeewar is the lyricist. Music is composed by Shyamal Mitra.

Lyrics of this song were sent to me by nahm.

Song-Kal ke apne na jaane kyun ho gaye aaj paraaye (Amaanush)(1975) Singer-Asha Bhonsle, Lyrics-Indeewar, MD-Shyamal Mitra

Lyrics(Provided by nahm)
kal ke apne na jaane kyun
ho gaye aaj paraaye
kal ke apne na jaane kyun
ho gaye aaj paraaye
ret ka saagar
pyaar ka sapna
pyaasa hi tarsaaye
kal ke apne na jaane kyun
ho gaye aaj paraaye

pyaar ne kya kya rang bhare thhe
likkhi thhi do taqdeeren
pyaar ne kya kya rang bhare thhe
likkhi thhi do taqdeeren
aayi jo aandhi
banker mit gaayi
baadal kitasveeren
pyaar ka rang hai
jaane kaisa
rang daag ban jaaye
kal ke apne na jaane kyun
ho gaye aaj paraaye

dosh nahin hai toofaanon ka
maajhi hi le doobe
deewaanapan ban kar reh gaye
man ke yeh mansoobe
taashon ka ghar
kaam na aaye
bante hi gir jaaye
kal ke apne na jaane kyun
ho gaye aaj paraaye
ret ka saagar pyaar ka sapna
pyaasa hi tarsaaye
kal ke apne na jaane kyun
ho gaye aaj paraaye
