A third comment after three years!! I have been hearing this song off and on in Radio Ceylon but only today I decided to check this blog for the words. I knew the song would be here. I too had noticed the similarity with ” Asmawale teri” from Laila Majnu. Thanks Sadanad-ji, you had also noticed it.

By the way, there is some similarity in tune of this song with ‘aasmaan waale teri duniyaa se dil gabaraa gayaa’ from LAILA MAJNU (1953)
