Main saagar ki mast lahar

I have a 78 RPM record (N.50600) of the song ‘saathi na bane koi’ from film DHUAAN (1953) sung by Krishna Goel which was set to music by Dhaniram. Since I was not able to listen to this record (which in any case is in poor condition) for want of a record player, I have been searching for the audio clip of the same on the internet sites.
In that process, I came across a very rare and melodious song ‘main saagar ki mast lahar’ from this film sung by Lata Mangeshkar and chorus. The song is written by Rajendra Krishan and set to music by Vasant Desai. I have heard this song about 40 years back but completely forgot about it. The film was produced under the banner of Rup Nagar and directed by RoshanLal Malhotra. The cast included Rajan, Usha Kiran, Asha Mathur, Pratima Devi, Ulhas, Mumtaz, Sanjana. Nothing is known about the story line of the film. One song from this film has already been discussed in this blog.
I have now come to know that the this film had two music directors – Dhaniram and Vasant Desai. If one is to believe the internet sources, this was the only song composed by Vasant Desai in the movie but it was not included in the film. Only the audio clip of this song is available.

Kamath ji,
It is true that Dhaniram and Vasant Desai gave music to Dhuwan-1953 and also that this was the only song out of 7 songs in the film, where VD had composed the music.
However this song was very much in the film and another song
‘Zindagi hum se hui hai door’ by Lata was removed from the film.
