Any list of Gulshan Bawra’s songs is incomplete without the mention of “Mere desh ki dharti” (UPKAAR)
Another thing I have been wanting to say. Let us celebrate only the Birth Anniversaries of Singers, Music Directors, Lyricists, actors and important Directors. This way we will be covering lot of personalities.

The problem will be that mostly,the dates of Birth for film people(barring the famous) are either not available,or not correct,while Death dates have been recorded in recent past by many.

shd i say not fair to Prakashchandraji for beating me to the winning post & sending this song (i was waiting for Asha Bhonsle’s Birthday) or thank you for sending it & Atul posting it promptly?
actually i saw this song yesterday in Rangoli on doordarshan & they had whole lot of Sapna (dream) songs. thats when i saw that this song was not yet here and i had mentally marked it for Asha Bhonsle birthday
so Thank you Atul & Prakashchandraji.
anyway this movie “Khel Khel Mein” always reminds me of the lazy child i was. and how my dad had promised to take me to see this movie if i had completed my school work by some particular time & he left me & took my sister along bcoz my work was not completed on time. (mind it i was in Primary School then). its a different matter that i ve seen it umpteen number of times subsequently. for that matter i got to see “Sholay” also as a reward for successfully helping my Mami with her handicraft work. my dad used to reward me like that only bcoz he wanted company to go to the movies (my mom was very selective in what movies to see). all this i came to know in later years. and now also my dad waits for me to visit him to see a movie even if only on TV. he even calls me up to inform me when some movie that i like is on.

You are not the only one who was beaten up by Prakashji. Few weeks back I was listening to “legends” collection of five cds of Ashaji and when I heard this song (Vol 4, song 7), I also thought same as you, as to wait for a perfect occasion, Ashaji’s b’day. Ab dekho Prakashji ne hum dono ka Sapna tod diya.
Prakashji, do you know how it feels when your dreams are shattered? 😥 Koi baat nahin, ab mujhe ye sochna hai ki iska badla kaise liya jaaye. 😆 Thanks for sending the lyrics. This is one of my favorite dance song of Aruna Irani other than Caravan-71.

By mentioning”Caravan” Aruna Irani dance song, you have reminded me of a song from “Caravan”. ‘Arey ho… goriya kahaan tera des re”, is duet on the caravan of the kabila. I had sent the lyrics of this songs so long back, with the first or second batch of song lyrics that i sent. Mujhe lagtaa hai ke lyrics e-mail sent box meinse khud hi dhoond ke nikalna hogaa aur ek post bhi likhna hogaa.

But I have sent the lyrics of this song 29th February 2012 for the first time, then again, I have sent for Pancham`s birthday(a few days back) I think. And now on Gulshan Bawra ji`s Death Anniversary.
Atulji ke saaye ki tarhaa daily,main unnke peechhe hi rehthaa hoon,main inn gaanon ko lekar(I don`t know how much irritation I cause because of my this be-wajah ki excitement and paagalpan about these hindi movie songs)
Atulji se bhi iss ke baare mein maafi phir ek baar le hi leta hoon.

Chalo, Maaf kar diya Prakashji aapko. Jis tarah aap ne Atulji ko pareshaan kiya hai, sirf is ek gaane ke liye, uske aage hamari naarazgi to kuchh bhi nahin hai. Dekho, aap ne dil toda, sapna toda, ab kya todne ka iraada hai? 😆 Hope you are not taking this seriously. Kya karun, majhak karne ki aadat jo hai. Ab bura laga hai to koi baat nahin, ek gaana aur bhej ke pareshaan kar lena (kis ko, wo nahin likh sakti…..)

this is not the 1st time u r doing dis 2 me. when Atul started d farmaish page i used to send a few requests. den u joined the gang & den u started sending a flood of farmaishes (they contained most of the songs i wanted to request) so i stopped sending & started thanking you.ab aap yahan bhi wohi kar rahen ho. hum jaise lazy logon ke devta ho tum. :-))

I just noticed that this song is missing from the blog. Jeetubhai and his dance! It’s good that this song was not posted back then,. Now we will have your detailed write up also with info on who is this goriya and which is her desh and so on……. BTW, I have seen this movie few times just for Aruna Irani’s dance song and her role.

When Atulji decides to post a song. He should insert the song in his mail search. He will come to know who has sent the song first. Then follow FIFO principle. First in first out. Then no more heartburns.
