“Panna” (1944) was directed by Najam Naqvi. The movie had P Jairaj, Geeta Nizami, David Abraham, Kusum Deshpande etc in it.
Three song from this movie has been discussed in the past. Here is the fourth song from the movie.
This song is sung by Rajkumari. Wali Sahab is the lyricist. Music is composed by Amir Ali.
I am unable to identify the actress who lip syncs this song. I request our knowledgeable readers to help identify her. My guess, as in a few earlier Rajkumari songs from the movie is that she is Geeta Nizami. This song is picturised asa mujra song

Here is the link to the write up on Geeta Nizami, where it is mentioned that the film version of the songs were rendered by Shamsad Begum. A few other sites also express similar views. Can anybody confirm or clarify.

Atulji,
Thanks for presenting this vintage song. Indeed she is Geeta Nizami. There is write up on her with a photograph of her in Cineplot encyclopaedia. There the author says that record versions of Panna songs were sung by Rajkumari (released by HMV on various Rajkumari compilations) while the film versions were sung by Shamshad Begum. Can you or Arunji throw some light on this.
