“Jai Mahakali” (1951) was directed by Dhirubhai Desai for Chandrakala Pictures. This movie had Rajkumar, Nirupa Roy, S. N. Tripathi, Shahu Modak, Lalita Pawar, Shanta Kanwar, Ulhas, Dhulia etc in it.
Here is a forgotten song from this obscure movie. This song is sung by Geeta Dutt. Lyrics of this song weere written by Feroz Jallandhari (never heard of him) and music is composed by someone known as just Kumar.
Only the audio of this song is available. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the movie, on the picturisation, on the lyricist as well as on the music director of this song.

(Need to correct his name as Feroz Jalandhari in above post). (One more song sung by Uma Devi penned by him for this film ‘Jungle Ka Jawahar’ is also with us to be posted).
And surely we want to have more information about him.
