Yesterday (2 february 2014) was the death anniversary of Tahir Hussain. Today (3 february 2014) is the birth anniversary of Nasir Hussain (3 february 1931- 12 march 2002), Tahir Hussain’s elder brother.
Nasir Hussain produced, directed and wrote some well known movies. He wrote “Anarkali” (1953), “Munimji” (1955), “Paying Guest” (1957) and “Tumsa Nahin Dekha”(1957). Then he became a producer director himself and made movies such as “Jab Pyar Kisi Se Hota Hai” (1961), “Phir Wohi Dil Laya Hoon” (1963), “Teesri Manzil” (1966), “Baharon Ke Sapn” (1967), “Pyar Ka Mausam” (1969), “Caravan” (1971), “Yaadon Ki Baraat” (1973) and “Hum Kisise Kum Naheen” (1977).
Here is a song from “Yaadon Ki Baaraat” (1973) on this occasion. This song is a party song which is sung by Asha Bhonsle and Kishore Kumar, with chorus and R D Burman’s voice also there in the song. The song is picturised on Neatu Singh, Taqriq Sheikh with Ajit, Mona Saxena, Vijay Arora, Imtiaz Khan, Dharmendra etc also visible in the picturisation.
Majrooh Sultanpuri is the lyricist. Music is composed by R D Burman.

The actor in this song is Tariq Hussain Khan, not Taqriq Sheikh.
The song is picturised on Neetu Singh and Tariq Khan with Ajit, Mona Saxena, Vijay Arora, Imtiaz Khan and Dharmendra, etc.,. also visible in the picturization.

@ Prakash ji – thanks for remembering anniversaries of the Hussain brothers.
‘Yaadon ki Baaraat-1973’ is a very special film for me as it brings back memories. and secondly it has story of three brothers and that special ‘lost and found’ formula, Pancham da’s music, and all nice entertaining songs.
