Lyrics(Provided by Nitin Shah)
mere man mein dol
aankhon mein bol
mat ho re sajaniya door
mere man mein dol
aankhon mein bol
mat ho re sajaniya door
ye hai dil ka mol
ghoonghat na khol
ulfat ka yahi dastoor
ye hai dil ka mol
ghoonghat na khol
ulfat ka yahi dastoor
hai rut suhaani
baahon mein aaja
tujhko dikhaaun main sapne
ho o
jaaun re dhadkan
laga mora ji
naaz?? bahut apne
mose to aise rootho na gori
dil ho na jaaye choor oor oor
mat ho ri sajaniya door
mere man mein dol aankho mein bol
mat ho ri sajaniya door
ye hai dil ka mol
ghoonghat na khol
ulfat ka yahi dastoor
aankhen teri aankhon se milake
mushqil me pad gayi jaan aan
jaake nahi lautegi jawaani
kehna mera tu maan
ho o
ishq tera aazaad hai lekin
husn mera majboor oor
ulfat ka yahi dastoor
mere man me dol aankho mein bol
mat ho ri sajaniya door
ye hai dil ka mol
ghoonghat na khol
ulfat ka yahi dastoor
ye pyaara pyaara chanda sa mukhda
ye zulmi do naina
ho o
pehlu se kuchh kho baitho to
peechhe se hamhko kehna ho o
dil deke mujhko dard diya hai
kaisa naya dastoor oor oor
mat ho ri sajaniya door
mere man me dol aankhon mein bol
ulfat ka yahi dastoor
mere man mein dol aankhon mein bol
ulfat ka yahi dastoor

He won the tax-free jack pot of Rs 49 million> less than USD 1 million and may have lost most of them. Easy money goes easily..
How he knew Tamil is a mystery though he was a pucca Panju.
He had a great memory and good grasp of poetry. When I met him with my poems he would repeat every two lines I recited flawlessly and savour them.Trust him not to use my lines; he did not till the end. He had a office close to Om Prakash in Roop Tara Studio, Dadar, Mumbai. They were very pally.
He lived a life of penury after he came from Shimla to try his luck in Mumbai. It was with the success of Aaj Ki Raat that he got the fame that he deserved and the success that he desired.
