“Sanskaar”(1958) was directed by Chaturbhuj Doshi for Filmistan, Bombay. The movie had Anant Kumar, Amita, Chand Usmani. Yakub. Agha, Ranjana, Leela Mishra, Badri Prasad, etc in it.
This movie, not to be confused with movies with the same titles released in 1940 and 1952, had nine songs in it. Two of these songs have been covered in the blog.
Today (7 july 2017) is the birth anniversary of Anil Biswas (7 july 1914-31 may 2003).
An article on Anil Biswas has been posted in the blog on the occasion earlier today.
It was discussed in that article that Anil Biswas rarely used the voice of Rafi in his compositions. The reason given him for not using Rafi’s voice was similar to O P Nayyar’s reason for not using the voice of Lata in his composition- the voice not suiting his kind of compositions.
Unlike O P Nayyar who never used Lata (or even Suman Kalyanpur, the Lata clone), Anil Biswas has used Rafi a few times in his compositions.
Anil Biswas used Rafi’s voice in 8 songs in five movies. In addition, Rafi’s voice can be heard in two small snippets in “Heer” (1956) whose records were not made.
The five Anil Biswas compositions with Rafi’s voice that have already been covered in the blog are:

Rafi’s excel sheet mentions one Rafi song from “Beqasoor” as Anil Biswas composition. That is incorrect. This Rafi song, viz. Khabar kisi ko nahin wo kidhar ko dekhte hain (Beqasoor) was composed by Hansraj Bahl.
Two of these remaining Rafi songs from Anil Biswas compositions are from “Paisa Hi Paisa”, viz. “uff na karna ki mohabbat meri badnaam na ho” (Rafi-Asha Bhonsle duet) and “Din ne maanga pyaar toone dard paida kar diya” (Rafi, Asha Bhonsle, Kishore Kumar)
The third missing Anil Biswas composition containing Rafi’s voice is from “Sanskaar”(1958).

Only the audio of this song is available. One comment in YT mentions that this song was picturised on Agha.
On the occasion of Anil Biswas’s birth anniversary today, here is this “rare” and special song from “Sanskaar”(1958) which was the very last time that Rafi’s voice was used in an Anil Biswas composition.

Atul ji,
The song ‘Khabar kisi ko nahin wo kidhar ko dekhte hain’ from BEQASOOR (1950) has been accredited to Anil Biswas on HMV LP record. However, Anil Biswas, during a discussion with persons from RMIM, had stated that all the Rafi songs in the film was composed by Hansraj Bahl.
By the way, in the Blog, the song https://atulsongaday.me/2010/05/30/khabar-kisi-ko-nahin-wo-kidhar-ko-dekhte-hain/ is accredited to Anil Biswas.
