Blog 10-Year Challenge (2012-2022) – Song No. 97

This date ten years ago (viz 21 September 2012) saw eight songs from eight different movies getting covered in the blog.
Here are the details:-

We can notice that four movies (out of eight) whose songs were covered on this date ten years ago have since been YIPPEED in the blog. That leaves us with four movies that are still eligible for Blog Ten Year Challenge today (21 September 2022).
“Paheli”(1977) is one movie that is eligible.
“Paheli”91977) was produced y Tarachand Barjatya and directed by Prashant Nanda for Rajshree Productions Private Limited, Bombay. the movie had Satyajeet and Introducing Nameeta Chandra (debut) in lead roles. Poornima Jayaram (debut), Durga Khote, A.K.Hangal, Dina Pathak, Leela Mishra, Abha Dhulia, Nitin Sethi, Gopal Tak, Albela, Babu Kumar, Kishore, Birbal, Shivraj, Vrijendra Mohan, Pardesi, Hari Shukla, Avinash, Jaidev etc. The movie had new actresses Nina Mahapatra and Anita Singh and new child artiste Master Amitabh in it. The movie also introduced Arun Govil.
The movie had six songs in it. Only one song has been covered in the blog. That one song was covered exactly ten years ago.
Now ten year later, here is the second song from “Paheli”(1977). the song is sung by Hemlata and Chandrani Mukherjee. Ravindra Jain is the lyricist and Music director. The song is picturised as a dance song on Namita Chandra and Poornima Jayaram who enact the roles of Radha and Kaanha respectively in the dance. The audience of their performance include Leela Mishra, Durga Khote, Satyajeet, Pardesi, Master Amitabh etc.
