On this date ten years ago (8 April 2013), eight songs from eight different movies were covered in the blog. Here are the details:-

We observe that five movies (out of eight) whose songs were covered on this date ten years ago (viz on 8 April 2013) have since been YIPPEED in the blog. That leaves us with three movies that are eligible for blog Ten Year Challenge today (8 April 2023).
“Aandhi aur Toofaan”(1964) is one of the three BTYC eligible movies today (8 april 2023).
“Aandhi aur Toofaan”(1964) produced by A L Sethi, Md Hussain and Kamran and directed by Md Hussain for Kamran Fims Private Limited, Bombay. The movie had Dara Singh, Kamran, Mumtaz, Jeevan, Ratanmala, Amar, Bhagwan, Leela, Uma Dutt, Habib, Lakshmi Chhayaa, Munshi Munakka, Qamar, Anand, Arvind Kumar, Anjum, Munshi, Mutsafa, Fazal, R.Khurshid, Balaram, Dawood, Ismail, Honey Irani, Hercules, Prem, Moolchand, Kamal Mohan, Arjun Kumar, Bihari, Saabir, Maula, Aazam, Salim etc in it.
“Aandhi aur Toofaan”(1964) had six songs in it. Three songs have been covered so far.
Here is the fourth song from the movie to appear in the blog. The song is a sentimental song picturised on the background which shows two brothers separating from each other (over some misunderstanding, I guess). Kamran and Dara Singh play the two brothers. Ratnamala and Uma Dutt are also visible in the picturisation. The song sung by Rafi gets played in the background while Kamran is seen leaving on a bullockcart after an acrimonious cum sentimental parting of ways with Dara Singh.
Farooque Kaiser is the lyricist. Music is composed by Robin Bannerjee.
