“Kashish”(1980) was directed by Amin Chaudhary for Film Art International, Bombay. The movie had Naveen Nishchol, Reena Roy, Vinod Mehra, Chris Macliod, A.K. Hangal, Dr Shreeram Lagoo, Achala Sachdev, Narendra Nath, Sashikala, Patrick Macclo, Johny Whisky, Mitthu Sen, Sheli Desai, Bhim Sen, O.P. Malhotra, Lalit Kohli, Manohar Rathod, Pradeep Kochar, Jo Chiramont, Rin Chin, Michael O’ Brian, Fan Rizo, Mister Batra etc in it.
Rajni Sharma and Rama Vij made special appearances in the movie.

Here is the third and final song from the movie to appear in the blog. The song is sung by Asha Bhonsle. Anjaan is the lyricist. Music is composed by Kalyanji Anandji. Only audio of this song is available. It is in contrast to the earlier covered songs whose video were available.
I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of the song. My guess is that this song is a dance song which may have been picturised on a secondary character.

Atul’s Song A Day- A choice collection of Hindi Film & Non-Film Songs

Atul ji,
The song is very much in the film and it is picturised on Reena Roy as a dance song.
The background to this song is that Naveen Nischal has gone to the USA for a higher study where he meets Reena Roy who is a practising doctor in the USA. Both like the company of each other. However, she does not agree for his marriage proposal as her mother is the decision maker for her marriage. Her mother has selected Narendranath from India for her. So Reena Roy visits India to meet him. Surprsingly, in the next scene Reena Roy is shown singing and dancing. There is no context. Probably, some portion of the scene has been edited out. When she is singing and dancing in India, Naveen Nischal is seduced by Juliet Graham in the USA who has been intoroduced to Naveen Nischal by Vinod Mehra to keep him away from Reena Roy.
Finally, it is Naveen Nischal who returns to India and exposes Narendranath as a durg smuggler. Reena Roy is thankful to Naveen Niscahal from saving her from Narendranath and agree to marry Naveen Nischal.
