Continuing this series, I present to you my next Asha Bhosle song from the movie “Kahin Aar Kahin Paar” (1971).
“Dil Mein Badi Badi Baatein Hain” is penned by Asad Bhopali and composed by the extremely talented Ganesh Sharma.
The movie had Joy Mukherjee, Vimi, Helen, Anwar Hussain, Shetty, Sheikh Mukhtar, Nadira, Shyam kumar and Jayshree T .
This is the third song from this movie and is lip synced by Helen & Vimi. The movie’s hero Joy Mukharjee is also seen dancing to the song. Along with Anwar Hussain.
The song has excellent orchestration complete with trumpets, guitars, drums, etc
This song is a villain’s den song.

What a fantastic song.
Sad that it lies so neglected. I have always admired Ganesh Sharma’s work; particularly his Asha Bhosle songs like Kahan Gaya Mera Sanam from Ek Nanhi Munni Ladki Thi (1970) or Tum Samjho To Accha Hai from Ek Naari Do Roop (1973).
Dil me badi badi was a song though that I had never heard before. Thanks for introducing me to it.

Thank you for liking this song. The more (number of times ) you listen to it the more it grows on you!!
As I mentioned, the winner in this song for me is the supremely talented Ganesh Sharma and his beautiful composition and the orchestration!!!
