“Ladki Pasand Hai”(1971) was produced by B L Rawal and directed by C L Rawal. The movie had Mumtaz and Deepak Kumar in lead roles. The movie also had Jeevan, Manmohan, Manorama, Tabassum, Rajendranath, Sajjan, Junior Mehmood, Uma Dutt, Jayshree T. etc in it.
“Ladki Pasand Hai”(1971) had eight songs in it. Three songs have been covered in the past.
Here is the fourth song from “Ladki Pasand Hai”(1971) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Rafi. G S Rawal is the lyricist. Music is composed by Sonik Omi.
The song is picturised rather crudely one must say on Deepak Kumar and Mumtaz. A song of this quality deserved much better picturisation that what we get to see. To make matters worse, the video is of very poor quality. Since this movie had flopped at the box office, we must be happy with whatever print quality we get which is better than having no print.
The lyrics suggests it is a roothhna manaana song, but it is picturised as a teasing song.
The saving grace of its song is the audio version with way better quality plus one extra stanza which is missing in the video.
