“Naag Mani-1957” (as spelled in Geet Kosh) was directed by Raman B Desai for ‘Bombay Movietone, Bombay’. Raman B. Desai was also the producer of this movie, which was a ‘mythological’ movie. The cast of this movie had Nirupa Roy, Trilok Kapoor, Manhar Desai, P. Kailash, S.N. Tripathi, Rajan Haksar, Poonam Kapoor, Sundar, Babu Raje, Yashodhara Katju, Rajrani, Helen, Sheela Kashmiri, Roopa, Heera Sawant, Uma Khosla, Lata, Nimmo Firoze, Lata Roy, Sarla, Buta Ram Sharma, Gangaram, K.P. Rao, S.P. Anand, S.N. Ghosh, Avtaar Singh and others. “Naag Mani-1957” was passed by censor board on 30.09.1957.
