This movie “Hum sab Ustaad hain” was the first movie in which Laxmikant Pyarelal, then newcomers, worked with Kishore Kumar. Kishore Kumar in fact was the actor cum singer in this movie, and the association of the would be great singer and would be great music director duo in this movie resulted in some memorable songs.

When one looks at the major movements of the 20th century- viz anticolonialism, anti apartheid, non violence, and movement against untouchability ( the last one a uniquely Indian social evil)- Gandhi was the motive force/ originator behind all these major movements. And it goes without saying that these movements helped change the destiny of millions of people and scores of nations around the globe.
