This movie was written by Salim Javed and it had a multistarrer cast including Sanjeev Kumar, Amithabh Bachchan, Shashi Kapoor, Rekha, Aparna Sen, Helen, Utpal Dutt, M.B.Shetty, Amrish Puri, Mohan Sherry, Amar Nath, A.K.Hangal, Prem Chopra, Om Shiv Puri, Dr.Shree Ram Lagoo, Sudhir, C.S.Dube, Raj Kishore, Mac Mohan, Kamal Deep, Baby Rani, Jagdish Raj, Kumu Tripathi, Satyen Kappu, Sajjan, Gajanan Jagirdar, Pinchoo Kapoor etc in it.
