Few days back, I got an idea, why not make an Index of personalities and topics that I have discussed on this Blog through my posts in last 3-4 years. This would help me as the readers to get the desired information at a click. Very enthusiastically and patting myself for this original idea, I started the work and then I realised that this was a mammoth project requiring lot of time and patience !

A natural talent that made a significant impression when launched, but eventually could not compare to the range and versatility of its peers.
Another reason often mentioned is the simplicity and the lack of awareness of the machinations of the film world. An innocent contravention, and the anchor support was taken away. And then the talent transmogrified into another role. And the resulting fun and laughter, then lasted a good half a century.

“Anokhi Ada” (1948) is a treasure of great songs. Like most music lovers, I was only aware of the just the few songs from this movie that were the most popular ones. But subsuquently, I have been discovering the remaining songs of this movie, mainly because the lyrics of the remaining songs from “Anokhi Ada” (1948) have been sent to me by Atif M. Yesterday I discussed an untypical composition from this movie which was a soft song, which sounded like a western music based composition. And here is a lovely folk music based composition from “Anokhi Ada” (1948) which has bowled me over at the very first listening.
