This “social” film had Premnath, Vinod Mehra, Yogita Bali, Ajeet (special appearance), Aruna Irani, Raj Tilak, Roopesh Kumar, Chandrashekhar, Urmila Bhatta, Rammohan, Tiwari, Sundar, Mohan Choti, Jagdish Raj, Indu Mehta, Prakash Gill, Jayshree T, Rajkumar, Randheer, Suhail, Shera, Shivraj, Mahinder, Bhanumati, Nima, Bachchan Singh, Amar Singh, Sagar Sharma, Bhupendra etc. Child artists Shailesh, Arif, Raka, Ripple, Guddu and Baby Nisha were also there in the movie.

The search for songs of Mukesh continues as we close in on his last set of remaining songs that are yet unpublished on the blog. With the current count (prior to this post) at 818, there still is a good number of songs to be tracked and brought on board. The revised and updated Mukesh Geet Kosh (compiled by Shri Harish Raguvanshi of Surat) which was released in November of 2020, puts the number of Hindi songs identified at 980. Few months back when I was travelling to my work place I got to listen to a program on a famous Radio FM channel. In This program, the anchor talks about the some special ‘characters’ from movies and the actors performing these characters, and the impact such characters have on the audience. That day this program talked about two special characters i.e. ‘Mogambo’ of ‘Mr. India-1987’ and ‘Jaykant Shikre’ of ‘Singham-2011’.
