Naushad gave music to 3 films in 1946 and all 3 got turned out to be Silver Jubilee hits. Films were Keemat, Anmol Ghadi and Shahjehan. However, she has the unique distinction of being the FIRST ever Heroine of DEV ANAND in his Debut film- Hum Ek Hain-1946. So, as long as Dev Anand will be remembered, Kamala Kotnis’s name will also be remembered.
