“Aap Ki Sewa Mein” (1947) was a Chandrma Pictures Production. It was directed by Vasant Joglekar. It had Dikshit, Kesri, Shantaarin, Saroj Borkar, Nimbaalkar, Samson, DR Gokhale, Bhaal Maraathe, Vijaya, Baby Nalini etc. This otherwise lesser known movie has gone down in the history of Hindi movies as the movie where Lata Mangeshkar made her debut as a playback singer with the song Paa laagoon kar joree re. Less well known is the fact that this movie was also the Hindi movie debut for music director Datta Davjekar who otherwise was a big name in Marathi movies as a music director at that time.

“Adalat” (1948) was a Mangal Pictures Production. It was directed by Vasant Joglekar. The movie had Baburao Pendharkar, Shalini Devi, Jog Madgulkar, Sudha Apte, Saroj Borkar etc in it.
