“Rishte Naate” (1965) is a movie produced by Amar Jyoti movies(Madras). It was directed by K S Gopalkrishnan. The star cast of the movie included names like Raj kumar, Nutan, Jamuna, Nazeer Hussain, Ameeta, Jeewan, David Abraham, Kanhaiyyalal, Dhumal, Deven Verma, Madhvi, Sahasranaamam, Baby Shakila. The star cast and the name of the movie tells me that it was a movie with a melodramatic theme and little wonder that I have not heard of this movie.

I am aware of a movie called “Aan Baan” (1956), but it turns out that there was another movie of the same name in 1972 as well. I am surprised that I should know about the 1956 movie of this name , but be totally oblivious of the 1972 movie of this name.
