Produced by Charanjeet, under the banner of K Pictures, Bombay, the film was directed by Pradeep Nayyar and the Music Director was Manohar (Arora), whose assistants for this film were Sonik-Omi, who themselves became a reasonably successful MD pair with the film ” Dil ne phir yaad kiya”-1966. This Friday when I was listening to the program ‘Shaam Sindoori’ on my return travel from office to home, I was awestruck when I listened to a song sung by Rafi Saab.
It was like I was listening to this song for the first time. I do not remember if I have listened to it earlier. This song was ‘ye shaam hai dhuaan dhuaan fizaa bahot udaas hai’. I immediately fell in love with this song. After all it had Rafi Saab’s voice and a very nice composition too.
