“Pyaar Ka Mausam”(1969) was produced and directed by Nasir Hussain. This movie, which was a remake of Nasir Hussain’s own “Jab Pyaar Kisi se hota hai”(1961) had Shashi Kapoor, Asha Parekh, Nirupa Roy, Tahir Hussain, Rajendranath, Madan Puri, Laxmi Chhaya, Tabassum, Sujata, Dulari, Asit Sen, Wasti, Kishan Mehta, Suhail, Iftekhar etc in it.

“Pyaar Ka Mausam”(1969) was a remake of “Jab Pyaar Kisi Se Hota Hai”(1961) was the first movie produced and directed by Nasir Hussain. This movie turned out to be a box office success and Nasir Hussain kept making movies with the same story line in future as well.

The movie “Pyaar ka mausam” is a nice package of beautiful songs. It has less songs than other Nasir Hussain movies, but then all of them are good quality songs.

“Pyaar Ka Mausam” (1969) is a movie which was released during my pre teen years. I never saw the movie because my elders were of the type who rationalised that movies was bad for kids. And as a result I spent much of my childhood deprived of Hindi movies.

Tum bin jaaun kahaan

on:This outstanding song “tum bin jaaun kahan” appears twice in the movie. This song was sung by Rafi for Shashi Kapoor and Kishore Kumar for a lesser character. Lyricist was Majrooh Sultanpuri and music was composed by R D Burman.

This song was one of the earliest songs that left an indelible mark in my tender mind. I could identify the voice of Rafi even those days, but the concept of lyricists and music directors was not yet known to me at that time.
