The movie “Barsaat Ki Raat” (1960) was a movie that was a qawwali bonanza as this movie consisted mainly of one awesome qawwali following other. After the huge success of this movie, other movie makers tried to ape its success formula by coming with movies with similar theme. One of these movies was called “Qawwali Ki Raat” (1964) thus leaving no ambiguity about the fact that it was inspired from “Barsaat Ki Raat” (1960).

“Ghar Ghar Mein Deewaali” (1955) by all indication was a B grade movie, going by the star cast which had Shyama, Sajjan, Manorama, Gajanan Jagirdar etc in lead roles. Little is known about this movie, and its prints are apparently not available.

“Mirza Ghalib” (1954) was a movie based on the like of Great Urdu Poet Mirza Ghalib (1797-1869) who lived before the age of movies,but it is curious to note that he is in fact the lyricist of the songs of this movie that was produced some one century after his era.
