I have received several farmaishes for songs of “Dharmputra” (1961) which was a somewhat “different” movie vis a vis the mainstream movies of those days.

“Pyaar Ki Jeet” (1948) was a movie starring Suraiyya and Dev Anand Rehman. This movie had some very nice songs in it.

In Bollywood movies, getting drunk and singing drunkard song was considered the preserve of males (viz Devdas etc). Ladies getting drunk and making a spectacle of themselves was a strict no no.
