Suhaagan (1964) was an A L S production movie. This movie, which had flopped at the box office was directed by K S Gopalkrishnan. The movie had Guru Dutt, Mala Sinha, Feroz Khan, David Abraham, Leela Chitnis, Om Prakash, Nazir Hussain, Deven Verma, Indira, Lata Sinha, S. Varlaxmi etc in it.

“Midnight” (1972) is a movie that apparently never got completed. Not much is known about this movie today.
A few songs of this movie were already recorded before the movie was shelved midway. Fortunately, some of these songs have reached the public domain and we have access to these songs.

It was on 16th november 1917 that Chitragupta Srivastava was born in Bihar. He went to Bombay and earned fame as music director Chitragupta. He preferred to keep a low profile and was happy to compose for B grade movies, where he composed absolutely A grade music. A grade movie makers would have happily worked with Chitragupta if only Chitragupta had gone and met them. For instance, the first time that Chitragupta met with Raj Kapoor was in 1980s, when his music director sons Anand and Milind introduced him to raj Kapoor at a function. And Raj Kapoor told him that he would have definitely used him as a music director in his movies if only he had met him.

“Chingaari” (1955) is an obscure movie which was produced by Cooperatives pictures production. S Srivastava directed the movie. This movie had actors like Shekhar, Nalini Jaywant, Leela Misra, Sunalini Devi, Pran etc in it.

In this blog, I treat the number of songs discussed as the same as the number of posts. For instance, as of now, it is mentioned that the blog has 4876 songs. But it is not true. It means that this blog had 4876 posts. Multiple version songs, where songs with same lyrics are sung by different artists are discussed in one post in this blog, but they are really different songs. If one begins to count the number of songs that way (which is the actual way of counting songs), then this blog has already has already discussed over 5000 songs. It is for the sake of convenience and to avoid duplication of work that such multiple version songs are discussed in one post.

“Nirmal” (1952) is a movie that I knew nothing about. This obscure movie was produded by Shankar Theatre and directed by S Upendra. the star cast of the movie included Amarnath, Shanta Kanwar, Purnima, Shyam Kumar, Mirza Musharaf, Habib, Cuckoo etc.
