Most of the time we like to listen to songs that are of high quality- viz evergreen song, songs touching our hearts etc.
Then there are some songs that are created without such lofty ideals in mind. These songs are just the need of the story- they serve the need of the story and are forgotten.
Here is one such song. The girl (Hema Malini) is unhappy with the boy (Dharamendra ) and wants to “teach” him a lesson by flirting with another person and thus making Dharamendra jealous.
Look at the expression of jealousy on the face of Dharmendra.
But that is not why this is a fultoo timepass song. The great attraction and the funniest part is the “other” man that Hema prances with. He is none other than Prem Chopra. And here, delighted that he gets to go out with the girl, he dances, and boy what a funny paisa wasool dance in the first stanza of the song. Priceless !
So my song of this day is not a serious song, but a total timepass song. This is a song that is meant to be watched rather than just heard. Prem Chopra dancing. Quite a rare treat for all ye fans of Bollywood baddies. wonderful stuff !

Prem Chopra’s dance is hilarious.
Actually he is dancing quite well – I think he probably dances better than Dharam or Sunny Deol. 🙂
