For long, I had posted just one song from “Teesri Kasam” (1966). Then I realised that all the songs of this movie are outstanding and I needed to post all of them.
Here is this lovely song from this movie. It is a “bullock cart” song sung by Mukesh. The song is picturised on Raj Kapoor and Waheeda Rehman. Shailendra is the lyricist and Shankar Jaikishan composed the music.

it is not ”baante ;share but is ” baanche” meaning read . a letter can be read but not the destiny . thank you . you have a great blog ! regards .

Mukesh ji has immortalized him in our hearts. His songs will always be there with us and so the list of his songs, that I like, will keep adding more and more song and it cannot be concluded either …
This is another Mukesh song which I liked most !!

Beautiful–I wonder if this is Bhojpuri. It sounds like simple lyrics to describe great truths.
