“Nausherwan e Adil” (1957) was a blockbuster movie produced by G P Sippy. This movie had some superb songs in it.
Here is a lovely duet from this movie. It is sung by Lata and rafi. It is picturised on Mala Sinha and Raj Kumar. Parwez Shamsi wrote the lyrics and music was composed by C Ramchandra. The song is wonderful to listen to, especially at night time. This is the kind of song that I call “Chhaayaageet” song, what with words like “taare”, “chaand” etc figuring in this song.

I would like to share information about the writer with you.The writer
parwez shamsi was a teenager when he wrote the songs of this film
Nausherwan-e-Adil. Moreover, This was the only film in which he has
written the songs. and surprisingly all were hits. please someone
endorse this ,or correct me if I am wrong

Parwez Shamshi was daughter of Shams Lucknowi. Please refer to comments by her brother Shahab Shamshi on Bhala ho tera o rula denewale. This song is posted on the blog on March 6, 2017.

You have beautiful collection of songs. Just ek aur farmaish.. Tu hawa hai fiza hai zameen ki nahi from movie Fiza… Though its a comparatively new song. But words music and Karisma are charismatic and out of the world.
