“Ummeed” (1962) was a Rajan Films production. It was directed by Nitin Bose. The movie had Joy Mukherjee, Nanda, Ashok Kumar, Leela Naidu, Agha, Tuntun, Leela Mishra, Tarun Bose, Laxmi Chhaya, Chandrima Bhaduri, Nazir Kashmiri, Jankidas, Madhumati, Sabita Chatterjee, Ravi Kant, Hazara Singh, Parashram, Hussain, Jeevankala, Ramesh etc in it.
I have discussed three songs from this movie in the past. Here is another song from the movie. This song is sung by Mahendra Kapoor and Usha Mangeshkar. The song is picturised as a romantic cum playful teasing song between Agha and a lady whom I am unable to identify. I request our knowledgeable readers to help identify her.
