“Vish Kanya” (1943) was a Ranjit Production movie. The movie was directed by Kidar Sharma. It had Surendra, Sadhana Bose, Prithviraj Kapoor, Kamla, Leela Mishra, Sulochana, Brijmala etc in it.
Three songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the fourth song from this movie. This song is sung by Surendra and Kanchanmala. Kidar Sharma is the lyricist. Music is composed by Khemchand Prakash.
Only the audio of this song is available. It can be guessed that Surendra sang for himself but it is not clear who lip synced in Kanchanmala’s voice in the picturisation. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on this matter.

I have listened to the song a few times and I feel that there are a few lines especially those sung by Kanchanmala do not make sense and the lyrics may need correction. I request readers with keener ears to point our the corrections in the lyrics.
PS-On checking up with myswar, I gather that this song had another version of this song. The singers of this other version are not mentioned.

‘ham mit hain jo’ should be replaced with ‘amrit hain jo’.
