“Kahin Din Kahin Raat” (1968) was directed by Darshan for Shri Krishna Films Productions. The movie had Biswajeet, Sapna, Helen, Nadira, Asit Sen, Mohan Choti, Habib, Johnny Walker, Malika, Pran etc in it.

This song is the kind of song where the friends of the hero sing a song that serves as a distraction (for the baddies) so that the hero may go about his task of infiltrating the villain’s den unnoticed.
This song is sung by Mahendra Kapoor, Asha Bhonsle, Shankar Das Gupta and Badri Pawar. The song is picturised on Johny Walker (lip syncing in Mahendra Kapoor’s voice), a female to provide the necessary thumka whom I am unable to identify (lip syncs in Asha Bhonsle’s voice), Mohan Choti, Ram Avtaar (?) etc while Biswajeet the hero goes about his job of dealing with the baddies silently. The villain, Pran apparently remains lulled into a sense of security while this song goes on. I request our knowledgeable readers to help identify the other actors visible in the picturisation.
